"Honda Racing F1's much-hyped 'green' initiative will see its RA107 run without the traditional branding from sponsors as the team attempts to raise awareness of the environmental issues facing Planet Earth."

Is it just me or is this bollocks? Since when were F1 cars environmentally friendly?

Yes it is bollox. A car that does half a mile to the gallon, uses 20 sets of tyres a weekend, is noisier than a jet and they think that putting 'save the trees' all over it is a good idea?

Don't get me wrong, I love F1 but think this is a bit rich.

its a iffy subject! but they are highlighting the fact eveyone needs to help solve the problems of global warming etc.!

but all teams have to change over the next few years with solutions of reusing wasted energy etc. should be interesting as to what happens!

It's total bollox. They obviousy couldn't find a title sponsor and thought this was a good idea.

They didn't make it through to the last session of qualifing though so didn't have to spend 20mins just burnig fuel.

we lest not confuse CO2 emissions with actual global warming as thats a load of tosh. Run on bio-fuels and its as green as we're likely to see for a while

next we will have the noise abatement ar$eholes start complaining they're too loud and get court injunctions on such events,... oh hang on they already do this at club level! [:@]
