I've always liked the sound of the clasic mini horn

even on a big car it still seems to fit in

got mine off a polo gti from a local scrap yard £5 in total.
keep the bracket and the plug then scotch lock them together.
brand new.
p.s i think any low tone horn off any vag car would work!

i want to change my gay horn. what do people recommend?

i want a simple swap plug an play style. will a mk4 golf horn do? they sound good enough.

I'm guessing any VAG horn will be a straight swap. am i right?

if its dual horns youd need to join the wires together, as its a single horn as stock with 1 connector, also dual ones are a pain in the arse to get into the space behind the fog light, but you can do it, and it sounds better than a single tone horn

I added the low tone from the Lupo GTi which I guess is much the same as most VAG stuff, took it off the TDi when I traded it in and finally got round to fitting it on the Cupra today, TDi was just access from fog light recess but Cupra is bumper off job.

right Im after one for my 1.2. Any idea where it is in mine presuming the same place probably? I must admit I want a loud angry I dont drive a girl 1.2 horn. So a dual one is for me, anyway where can I get one that will fit nicely? Chears lads sorry to hijack the post a bit but am sure it was better to post here than start a new thread

my horn failed an i got it replace under warranty. the original horn was a bit gay, but you ought to hear the one they replaced it with . even gayer!!!! must be of a fiat cinquechento!

needless to say, i never use my horn.....

the top 1 in this pic is the new audi A4 horn (get the fcuk outa my way horn)
and the 1 at the bottom is my old vespa grandad horn

i got mine off a big engined passat from a scrappy, fiver and its nice and "stop driving like a twat and frame yourself" tone and real loud,
i just removed the NS foglight grille and made up a bracket out of strips of metal, bit fiddly, but got there in the end
