The green mould or whatever it is, is only on the passenger side light. I want to get this sorted so that i can get the rear lights tinted, so any help would be much appreciated, thanks

take them out and see if you can get a needle or thin object in the gap to scrape the moulded water out use white/methalated spirt to make it easier!

i got mine off by using TFR (traffic film remover). Just poured it on, then jetwashed it out. Takes a few attempts but it will work

Cheers lads,

Andybon - did you remove the light to do this?

Rash - is it easy to remove the light? how would i go about doing so?

would a steam cleaner get the mould off?

It's funny how the mould is only on the passenger rear light and the other side is clear:think:

I left the light in, just put it in a squeezy bottle, and went around it with it mixed slightly stronger, left it to soak for a few minutes, then aimed the jet wash at it on a lowish pressure. Did this twice and it seems to have done the trick

Doesn't mold/moss only grow in the shade or something. Maybe its where your car has been parked in the same place and facing the same way.

Yeah could be kriso, the light was a bit green when i bought the car about 6 months ago, looks like it's got worse since. My driveway is not really in the shade much. Mabye the mould is multiplying :(

Easy to take out mate - open boot, you'll see two black plastic plugs, lift them up and undo using a torx-bit.

Light slides out a bit, unplug and clean :D

Or jet-wash as said above!
