Stupid question of the day i know but i cant find my manual for my sat-nav/media system & I just want to pair my Nokia N8 to my bluetooth in my FR. I understand that the phonebook might not work on the N Series but it's just so at least I can take/make calls etc.

cheers! :)

If I remember correctly, make sure you phone is visible, turn on ignition and radio, on the phone search for new devices and it should see the car then click add.

Just make sure the car is not paired with a phone whild doing it.

would like to point out i have a n86 and everything works perfectly except when i ring ppl it makes a horrible feedback noise until it starts actually ringing

I believe with the Leon you only have a certain amount of time after turning the ignition on :) tried for ages after been sat in my car for a while :( haha

The car is great, had it 13 months now with no regrets. Just wish the brakes did not grab sometimes at low speed, thay can be a pain with all the snow we have had.

Hope it works with your phone, I have just ordered a Nexus S so will be doing the same has you when it arrives.

lol I had the exact same problem in the crazy snow.. thinking i was going pretty slow then sliding down perilously to the bottom of a hill stopping just in time before causing an accident. they just lock up and you start sliding away!

The phone worked first time (including the phone book) thanks for your help! All I need to do now is suss out how the voice recognition system works & I'm cooking with gas! :p

The voice system is good. The worst thing is setting it up, you have to program the names and numbers you want to use. It does not use the standard phonebook.

i find the system really helpful too, it gets a bit confused at times but im sure that bound to happen. THe hardest thing i found was saving numbers as when i read the number out and said 'store' it would just enter a star. Best piece of advice is to say store name and it should save it for you
