you need to do each corner at a time take the wheel off and loosen the nuts that connect the hub to the shock undo te top bolt and remove...installing the new is pretty much the reverse of removal. make sure all the measurements are the same on front 2 and the same for the rear so it sits right...:)

make sure you get new top mounts too...as they will most likely be worn and the coilovers give them a good battering! its better to change them while the suspension is off!

If you just want looks go for 1 of these: rokkors/racelands or hottuning ones. I had rokkors on my corsa c, they where really good for a budget coilover.

sounds daunting but it really is a piece of pi$$ to do. :)
as above, i started at the front. jack up, wheel off, undo two bolts holding strut, under the bonnet undo the 3 bolts on the strut top, give strut a little wiggle and a tug and it falls out.
on the rear i put both sides on axel stands and removed both struts at the same time.
also when dismantling the strut top, put all the nuts, washers and rubbers in order they come off as it gets a bit connfusing when you got a hand full of bits

If it just height adjusment.. adjust the front pair using a ruler/measuring using C spanner....then do the same for the rear making sure pair match...then fit them to the car (please use new top mounts worthwhile...)...then fit to the car....iff you want to adjust height more...do it on a flat surface or preferable a ramp doing the front pair then rear pair....
