sounds daunting but it really is a piece of pi$$ to do.

as above, i started at the front. jack up, wheel off, undo two bolts holding strut, under the bonnet undo the 3 bolts on the strut top, give strut a little wiggle and a tug and it falls out.
on the rear i put both sides on axel stands and removed both struts at the same time.
also when dismantling the strut top, put all the nuts,washers and rubbers in order they come off as it gets a bit connfusing when you got a hand full of bits
