Mornin' everyone it's been pointed out to me I should check my splitter as i feel I'm not getting the full180bhp from my AUQ, I even got A fellow Cupra driver to give it a drive and he feels its underpowered also...(severely compared to his 230+bhp stage two!)
I know as much as this,

Forge say;
Turn the end of the valve (where the vac line goes in) anti clockwise fully

Then back in (clockwise)

16 clicks for standard

21 for stage one

And

25 for stage two,

(Give or take 2)

Also, I'm aware of different springs, but I just 'assumed' its the right one standard?

It is currently where I'm told it should be, but think its opening up too soon, I tried 20 clicks and no different...nor is 13

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Put it in fully recirculating and see if its still underpowered. I have the splitter to and it's so much better in recirc.

It's slightly better in full recirc (is at the moment any way)
I'm borrowing a 007 p next week to see of it helps... I've heard both good and bad things with the split r...

Standard recirc valve sounds leaky, and strugglers to hold 0.5 bar, forge one holds .6- .65 bar when on split

And

0.65- 0.75 bar fully recirc only...

Thanks for the advice guys, I never realised as much as one click the wrong way can give you limp mode,
I'm currently on 15 clicks, fully recirc mode now, it decided to drop my boost down to 0.3/0.4 bar when I was last out in it, on a 20 mile run, only to find after turning off and on again, we were back up to 0.7/0.8 bar,
5 minutes later, the alternator packed up, ill see how it goes now, once I change/ recon the alternator, as I guess, if the voltage was all over the place it would probably upset the ecu's readings and n75...
And thus boost anyway...
(Needless to say, nursing it home at less than 12volts, I did boot it once or twice and it stayed at 0.7 bar...)hmmm

I now have an alternator that charges:)
I'm gonna carry on monitering the boost, been ok so far, 0.65/0.7 consistent.

That's a good guide there, ill see I I have more luck now,

I also drive a little heavier footed when its split lol, gotta be done though, sounds lovely!

I bought a new 710N DV the other day and fitted and couldnt believe the difference it made, only reason i changed it was due to getting a fault relating to the DV and iv been told the new DV with the 14.4lb spring is good for stage 2, any idea if that is correct LEE69?
