Morning

Having posted a thread yesterday about my tempreture gauge going up and down i was also wondering how long from cold your cars take to reach 'normal' (90). This morning mine took about 5 minutes or 2 miles. This seems to be very quick from standing overnight. Is this normal? I suppose it would take longer in the winter. It just with the other problem i have i didn't know if this was connected.

Thanks :D

to confirm, you are talking about water temp right? if so then 5mins is about right. If you mean oil temp, then it should be more like 10mins.

Agreed. Took only a couple of minutes of "spirited" driving this morning to get the temperature up. Then again it is 25degs outside today (according to the 100% accurate temp gauge on the LCR!!).
