How many Beeza Cupra R's?

Just wondering if anybody knows how many Ibiza Cupra R's were ever brought to the UK,and how many still exist?Having an debate with some vauxhall owner,who apparently says the ICR is common!

Any facts/figures much appreciated!

400 i think and something like 70 odd in england..i think

I believe 200 where made, 75 brought to the UK and over the years i've seen a few being scrapped, so i'd say about 60 odd left on the road now?

Anyone want to confirm that?

yes i heard 75 in england and ive seen a good few right offs.

Im pretty sure its 250 ever made. 75 came to the UK. A few have been written off already so probably now in the early 60's late 50's

Wonder why they chose to make most R's yellow, or is that photo just indicative?

7 yellows, 1 red, 1 black...wonder why.

Some went staright to track cars didnt they for rockingham or somewhere I believe or is that on top of the amount sold in the UK

that picture is most likely all the cupra R`s that went back to seat special ops in kent after they had been thrashed around the track at rockingham for the johnny herbert school of racing my R was probably the one he is fixing in the photo
there were 275 made 75 came to uk 21 went to rockinham mostly yellow a couple of red as in the pic all the yellow ones were reg plated GK51 VZ?
