Bought my '03' LC last week @ 50,000 mileage - 1 owner car - me being the 2nd!!

Looking at the reciepts he had a new gearbox/flywheel/clutch at the sum of 2k - in 2007... thats the only major work thats been carried out on her......

Cars running beautifully at moment.....
 
Mine is 2003 LCR on about 53k at the moment. Had it almost two years from about 43k miles.

Only probs i've had (touch wood) is one coil pack and the slow speed cooling fans go.
 
my leons a 2001 y reg 1.8 20v SE its covered 73500 i got it at 68000 had no problems. apart from two wishbones which where only brought up because of MOT amazing car looking to upgrade to an LCR next year.
 
My 2002 LC has just turned 58k .... only had 35k when i bought it Feb 08 .....so thats like 23k in 16months!! .... i havnt had anything go wrong with it at all.... had the timing belt done at 48k .... had the water pump changed too at the same time as it makes sense to do so.....
 
ive only had mine for a few weeks now its 02 plate with 98k but its had a new engine fitted at 57k:shrug::shrug:last owner told me o one good thing is 41k on new engine

with me its been a few split pipes temp gauge plays up now and then

miles = 62k
2nd owner

fault on clyinder 3. (new wire run to injector 3 form ecu to solve miss fire)
cracked wires on coil packs due to heat getting past sheild..
broken exsuast bracket.....

no other problems
 
2001 LC just got to 96,000, purchased at 95,000 earlier this year with full service history. No problems so far (touch wood) :)
 
2000(X) LC bought with 86,000 now @ 108,000 All common failing parts replaced over a period of approx 3 years eg: maf, temp sensor , n75 valve, dv , coil packs, inlet manifold vacuum nipple (as it was broken when i bought it).
Apart from that little lot its a great car
