Just wondering how much is my Seat Leon 1.8T Sport (AUQ) 2000 Year is worth?

It's on 104,000 Miles with well serviced by myself every 4000 Miles.

Cambelt was done last year at 87,000 Miles.

11 Months Tax, 12 Months MOT.

not long brought and installed Brand new Cam Tensioner, Rocker cover gasket, Oil Pickup, ECS Tuning Thermostat, ECS Tuning Sump Plug and Gearbox Plug.

Mods:

Cobra resonated Exhaust
3" Toyosport Decat
Toyosport FMIC
T.I.P
Toyosport CIA but now has a red filter.
Oil Catch Can with Braided Hose's and IE Engineering Block Breather Adpater and IE Rocker Cover Adapter but not fitted but will include.
Wrinkled Red Rocker Cover
Red Coilpacks
IE Engineering SIA Blank Plate
Forge 007P
8000K HIDs
LED Side Lights
Braided Fuel Lines
SIA Removed, EVAP Removed, N249 Bypass
double pod nomad pillar with 60m Boost Gauge
Kenwood Headunit.
Heko Wind Deflectors

I think I've got everything there.

If you still have all the standard parts I'd strip all the mods sell them separately then sell the car, possibly more money to be made!

I want to keep the car as I want to achieve 300BHP but its going to cost alot or buy an EVO IV which is near 300BHP and few mods will get over 300BHP and very cheap to buy.

we bought a standard Y plate Cupra (so the same as your X plate Aport) with less miles for something like £750 earlier in the year

I've seen some on ebay which are completely standard with more miles or around the same as mine for about £1500 to £2000.

But I have seen some which are less than a grand.

You'll always get people saying that they bought a better one for $3.50 but yours does sound a good example. It largely depends I'd you can wait, as very little is selling this close to.Xmas. If you can wait till the new year, I reckon you could get 1200-1400.

Unfortunately your mods won't add to the value unless it sells to another enthusiast who like modding.

Its a shame but just how it goes....

Easy buddy! If it was a standard motor then thats a fair enough comment, but with all the mods he's done i think it's a pretty reasonable question for him to ask tbh. If you don't wanna answer it then don't, but don't have a go at him for asking. Thats what this forum is for isn't it? Asking questions? It's not like he's asking why his footwells are wet!

your mods will lower the value and make most punters walk away without even looking, best bet is to return to standard and sell the upgrades seperately. much easier to sell and make a lot more money.

its all well and good people putting them on ebay for 2k but is anyone buying them? and is it an honest sale or shill bidding?

the best way to gauge value is to look the trader at cars of the same age/mileage/condition and see what they are being advertised for, if 75% of the cars are £1200 then your not gonna get £2000 for it quite simply.

You do know that you don't have to comment on every post. You've got nearly 1500 posts yet never anything worth reading.

I've every right to comment & if you look thru my posts you will find i've given plenty of good advice

If you read thru this thread most of the answers are the same,so is looking on ebay etc to see how much your car & mods is worth not good advice then ?
