I was thinking of de-badging my LCR's boot, i know ill need to have some sort of release for it inside the car but what exactly?

Has anyone done this before? I have a spare option on my clifford alarm so could have it on there but what about manual overide incase of emergencies!

Any advise or ideas needed please

I had this done to my polo, and basically linked up the boot release mechanisum to a solenoid....The boot effectively was never locked, but because there was no handle on the boot, it could not be opened..

As for a manual relase for security i just had a small hole in the boot cover on teh inside which was bunged up which i could get into the boot and use my finger to open it manually...

how did you activate the solenoid from a button on the dash? dont suppose you have pics? I like the idea of that hole nice touch
