Difference between 280 & 290 map

The only difference between the map for the 280 & 290 os 0.1 bar of boost more over the mid range in the 290 versus the 280 SC & 5 door. the ST 280 benefitted from this. There was no change to the ST after the mild update. The Exhaust for the 290 has no middle silencer, nor does the 280 ST, the 280 SC/5 door has a middle silencer. Max boost remains the same and therefore peak power should therefore be approximately the same. The torque curve is just better on a stock 290 or 280 ST versus the 280 SC/5door. None of the claimed figures are real, they're just VAG attempting not to devalue the Golf R.
 
Dyno 290 DSG

I had my Cupra 290 tested today on a Dynomite device manufactured by Land & Sea Inc.
The car is stock except a VWR600 intake and has run appr. 7000 km (some of them on the Nürburgring). The dyno showed 318 hp and 380 Nm torque.
