i can't for the life of me find a dimsport box for the mk3 cupra.

A cupra 280 dsg... Goes equal to my mates stage1 golf r mk6.

Superchips do Have an epc tuning box for The mqb.

ah ok. well could you drop me a message when you eventually come to a conclusion please as i'm kinda wanting a little more mpg but as long as it does not decrease, i'm fine with that.

I made today the test on my daily road. It was quite calm driving...almost ecodriving First 21km were country roads with 2-3 overtakes, the speed was from 90 to 110 km/h. when I entered the highway computer shown 7,7 l/100km. On the highway I kept speed around 135km/h with some kickdowns as well when it was needed. After 50km overall (country roads + highway) compter shown 8,3l/100km. The best I ever did on that trip before box was 7,6l/100km, but I stuck that time in the column of the cars and it was the only time I reached less than 8l/100km. My conclusion is that if you drive "slowly", the fuel consumption is the same, but if you want to use all power it will of course increse vs. before box. That makes sense...

Mattias, yep sw-tuning isnt in my mind.. Have you seen revo stage2? Wicked numbers in The right conditions above 400hp..

Ill go for a box, just cant figure out which one. Been in contact with promotech but they re not connecting to The fuel rail. Superchips currently doesnt Have anything.
Dtuk is interesting, also a south african guy developing a jb4 for golf mk7 r and gti. Might be something worth waiting for.

The need for a box increased today after having a short race against a BMW 123d, must Have Been tuned. I gained quite clearly above 100mph but below that, not much.. And, The dsg put in 6th Gear at around 100mph in Cruise

Iam thinking dtuk or obd vtech. Time will tell beacuse i will wait some.... Next week my bcs powerwalve is going on the car hopefully

no idea how you are getting such crap mpg. I've done 200 miles since last fill up and am averaging 35mpg. and thats me driving nicely but putting my foot down every so often on the big roads.

its shedloads better than my ST220 was! although i didnt have a very good trip computer on that but it regularly said 20-25mpg

Is that fig from the trip computer, or worked out yourself from fill up to fill up. My worked out fig is 29 overall over 4000M, while trip says 30.3 over last 1800M, I do a lot of short journeys and on a longer run can get 35 to 45 no bother.

trip computer. not bothered working anything out manually yet. only had the car a week. Might try to do it manually on next fill up to see how accurate it is. but 29 to 30.3 seems to be pretty close.

1l/10km ?? I've been having 40l/200km lol...

Nice seeing all the remaps that everybody's been doing.

I'm definately gonna go ahead and do a stage 1 since there seems to be no issues at all with them.

I guess it also depends on the tuner? I was just worried that the clutch and turbo would need to be replaced sooner.
