thank you, odd question but how do you wash all you mf towels? i guna rinse my wheel brushes and wash mitts out thoroughly with warm water under the tap, shaken out and hung in the shed to air dry. But it seems mf cloths are supposed to be like washed at 40 in the washing machine with liquid detergent that contains not bleach or fabrics softer, sounds a bit precise?

I put the MFs in the washing machine after every wash and yes no bleach or fabric softener.

After for Mitt I tend to either give it a good rinse wth hot water. If its dirty I sling it in the washing machine also. My last mitt actually lasted me for ages and thats down to letting it dry properly.

can you use a machine polisher to apply srp? im getting well tempted to get one :)
Dual Action Polishers work better applying SRP so make sure you get a DA.

Have a look at this thread http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=244269

Car was done with SRP. Worked pretty well with machine, much better than by hand as it breaks it down better and really gets the cleaners / filling agents working.

Yeah as above, SRP via machine is awesome!

Check out the Honda S2000 i did using just SRP as a polish

I used a Sonus SFX-3 Pad (both 6" and 4" for different areas) but i'm really pleased with how it worked for just SRP

Completed the passenger side, really impressed by SRP - The first time i've managed to get 50/50 shots, but it was obvious it was making a decent attempt of hiding some and getting rid of other swirls and scratches.

Nice reflection i thought

o im thinking of going down the g220 root

The G220 is a DAS6 machine basically, but the Pro version of the Das-6 has a more powerful motor (quite a lot) and also the main benefit is a stronger but really long power cable so you don't have to keep moving the extension lead everywhere....

Have a look on Cleanyourcar.co.uk or just Google as the Meg's G220 is slightly over-priced really because it's branded as a Meguiars product when in actual fact it's made by Kestal and is just a basic Das6 [B)]

well the g220 is £20 more than the da6 and is say the differences are:

quite a lot more powerful motor
stronger & longer power cord

those too sound like its probably worth the extra £20 well as least an extra £10 but parting with an extra £10 on top of what its worth compared to another isnt too bad.

just goes to show why black is the best colour, you jsut cant get that depth of shine with any other paint colour.

Not sure if you're confused or it's my fault, but i'd say the DAS6 Pro is the machine you want, it's far more powerful then the G220, and has the longer cable with it.

The cost is actually £10 cheaper then the G220 if you're buying the machine alone

Yep i did get comfused there first of all i didnt realise you were talking about the DA6 PRO rather than the standard DA6 and i thought u were saying the g220 had tge longer cable and was more powerful, but ok looks good then. Still good for a complete novice though ye as its a DA?

Yes DA is the place to start. Takes a while to master with a DA to get best results, although the risks are low there is a nice learning curve the more you use it.
