SO, some of you may know I've had two sensors replaced up to now, one was replaced under warranty, the latest funded by myself (fitted by a local shop while in for an inspection) the other day I gave the car it's first decent wash in a while, and while being super sensitive around these damn sensors took SPECIAL care washing around them (no pressure washing anywhere near them, and gingerly bucket washed) first start up after the wash and...a damn sensor on the drivers side pings at me!
Thinking it might still potentially be water ingress of some sort, I left alone in the hope it may dry out, I figured it must have as the sensor began working fine?
However, since then it's happened twice more, the sensor alarms on start up, and sometimes whilst driving but then mysteriously clears up again
so my question this time is 'has,anyone experienced a similar issue?'
As it's intermittent I'm tending towards a dodgy connection, but if so I'd expect it to trigger a lot more frequently, especially with our ever so smooth roads we have in this Country
