How to open key

Ok, battery ran out on the key fob. Bought a new battery but I can't get the thing open. I understand there is a screw under the badge that needs to be undone. Can't get the badge off though????

Any ideas??

The badge is ruined but still not coming off...I think the idiot before me decided to superglue it on or something....

Pull the key apart (longways), it is quite tight, lever open the non keyblade part.....simples

Yeah, you dont need to undo that screw! Its only for changing the key blade.

Pick it off with the point of a penknife.

You can get a new badge from the dealers, it's only a couple of quid, IIRC they are self adhesive.

I recall someone on Ebay doing replacement badges including FR and perhaps even Cupra.
