How to remove boot lock

I have an issue with the boot light, open boot indicator on dashboard and probably alarm going off due to the unknown state of the boot lock.
I've read that all this is coming from the micro switch in the boot lock. To get it open and cleaned/changed I've to undo 2 spline bolts but I can't fine the right bit. I have spline bits M6 & M8 (looks like a star with 12 peaks) but I can't undo the bolts with them.

Can someone please tell me what kind of tool I need to undo those bolts? Probably some special Seat (VW) one?

Thank you in advance.

PS I didn't find a similar thread so I'm posting a new one.

Edit: Nobody has done this before?! :)

Thank you for your input but it's not torx. :) The torx is with 6 peaks, while this bolt is with 12 peaks.
I checked in 5-6 hardware shops but none of them was selling similar tool. I guess the only option is a bit brutal but 100% working - to weld another bolt to this one and undo them both, then replace it with torx or similar one.
But still I hope someone can share his experience for undoing this bolts :).

Thanks, bendyb633. That nailed it down.
I've checked in the local stores for XZN bit 7mm but it's seems to be very rare. I've only found 6mm and 8 mm. I'll check later on ebay.

I've read in Wikipedia that it can be undone with a single square bit and that made me wonder can it be undone with an allen bit? Has someone tried that?

After more than a year I finally got my hands on such a bit (7mm XZN) but the disappointment was even greater when it didn't work again. The bit spins inside the bolt head. Maybe the head has worn from trying to undo it with all kind of bits.

Meanwhile I've checked the forum one more time and now I'm doubting that I'm trying to fix the right thing. I've read that when the open tailgate light on the dashboard and the boot light doesn't light up the boot lock microswitch needs cleaning/replacement. Can you show me where the boot lock microswitch is located? Is it in the
tailgate lock mechanism 3b9827505?

Thank you for your time.

PS I don't have 15 posts and can't share a picture of the tailgate lock mechanism. That's why I'm posting it's part number 3b9827505.

Finally the issue is fixed with the help from a guy of the local VW forum. The right bit is XZN M8 (8 mm). After undoing the bolts we saw that the microswitch needs replacement. It was covered with dirt and mold probably from a leaking rear wiper (already fixed). Fitted a new switch and voila everything is working fine.
