How to take off plastic engine cover?

I've got a 2003 1.6 16v Leon. Not sure if the engine cover is the same on cupra's, but I'm having trouble getting the plastic cover off to change air filter and spark plugs. I've undone 3 screws at the back but it wont budge. Just wondering what else I need to do?

On my R there were 2 1/4 turn screws on the front of the cover then lift the front and pull towards you. Your's might be different though.

Yeah it is different, its much bigger

Does it not tell you in the user manual? In the service section of the manual there should be info on changing the spark plugs, so I'm sure that will detail it?

No it dosnt say how to remove in the manual. The best way to take it off is to remove what you can and work you way around the cover by tugging it till you find place thats harder!
It cant be that hard!

I had a 2002 1.6 16v, its on 3 rubber bungs which requires a good pull at the front then the back, turn over and if i remember right has 12 screws which was numbered! Hope this helps.
