How to turn off Passenger airbag?...Help!

Hi All.

We're expecting our first babies (yep, twins) within the next couple of weeks.

I want to have one car seat in the front but need to know if the passenger airbag can be deactivated. Does anybody have an answer or any tips?

You can do it easily in vag-com if you have the lead.

vag-com is the diagnostic software that lets you clear faults and disable air-bags etc..

You could always put a request in the vag-com request section or go to a dealer to have it done.

cant helpif you havnt got a keyswitch in glovebox,,, but good luck with the birth!!

I think they started putting the passenger air-bag switch in the glovebox from MY03 cars onwards
