There are others but have been rumours of failers, sure there is proof out there but can't say I have looked only going from Reading posts, it's been discussed on here, should come up under a search. If you have the money APR has to be the one

Discussed to death already buddy, should be plenty of info available if you search. :)

Had Autotech in mine, seals failed filling engine oil with fuel, not happy is an understatement! Got the APR fitted to mine now by Awesome GTI and not had any troubles since! It is a lot of cash but well worth it for the safety of the engine!

Good luck with your modding mate, hope you enjoy the motor!:D

I've seen an Autotech failure also.

You want to know you have a quality product - failure & running lean will happen very quickly

I would opt for the APR pump for defo now if I was you. I had a £3k bill (luckily covered under warranty) due to a failing pump (autotech internals) . But atm I'm running a standard pump on a Revo stage 2+ map and it's fine. Tho I have reduced the settings abit, but it's still bl00dy quick!

mmmmmm so you are running a standard pump on stage 2+ and there are no issues brad1? If that's the case I am sure I am better off running the stock pump for the time being and then saving up to change it to the APR one at a later date surely?

I wouldn't run stage 2+ on a standard pump.

Would suggest downgrading to 2 while a new pump is sourced

Jason, get yourself over to mk5golfgti.co.uk.... Prob the best place on the net for the 2.0TFSI and a good place to find parts.

Thanks Damoegan, I was just there and nothing available atm. Some guy offered me the Autotech internals but after reading the other link it seems I am better off going APR. Reckon I may just take the hit and get it. I want this all done right and proper and to last so I guess in the longer run it is better to shell out the cash and know that I will have something that runs right. Gonna order a new APR HPFP tomorrow. Might have to look at uprated clutch kits too!!!!!! Oh crap! LOL. The joys of playing with cars hey?!
