I have coming home but no leaving home lights function

Hi,

On my Leon 2.0TDi stylance I cant seem to get the headlight leaving home function to work. If I leave the headlight switch on when arriving home, and lock the doors the lights stay on for 40 seconds as they should. When I return to the car and unlock it I would expect the lights to come on again to light the area around the car, but they dont.

Any ideas?

Nope - unless you have auto lights it wont come on when you go to the car

Hence the function name of comming home ... not leaving home

Thanks for the quick reply.

Its a shame the manuals don't make things clear eh. There is a seperate section about auto lights, yet the leaving home descriotion is under the coming home section instead.

I am still peeved with the dealer fititng the ipod lead today when there is no way it will work on my car
