Hi, Im Neil, a mechanic from Brighton. I currently drive a Fiesta ST which is a nice car, but im fed up with the insurance cost (£600 fully comp) and the MPG (26-28).

I drove my bosses VW Passat 130TDi (PD) and was blown away by its performance and MPG. So It got me thinking, I want a diesel.
I was almost decided on a Mark 4 Golf GT TDI 150...then someone on the TDi Sport forum advised me to look into a Seat Leon Cupra/FR 150pd (same engine as golf). I have checked auto trader etc and must admit, I quite like them! For the same money, I can get a slightly newer and less mileage Leon when compared to a Golf.

Now, sorry for chin waggin'.

Can anyone answer the following questions for me?

1) Can you show me the different models of leon that have been made?

2) Do you own a Leon Cupra Tdi? If so tell me what you think of them? Good and bad.

3) Do you know if they handle better than the (poor handling...) mark 4 golf?

4) Anyone from or near Brighton on here??

If anyone can help Id really appreciate it.

Many thanks

Neil

Ha ha cheers for replying.

Is there anything on the site where I can search for the history of the different models of leons?
