I need an Ibiza engine wiring diagram....Bad!

Hi from America, I have an 02 Ibiza in my shop that had a small engine fire. The customers are here traveling from Mexico. Im trying to get them back on the road and im using a piece from here and a piece from there to do it. They dont sell SEATs here and ive had to mix and match different VW parts to make it work. Im trying to use an engine wire harness from a 2.0 Beetle motor, but the wire colors arent matching up to my Beetle/Jetta harness.

I believe this motor is a 1.6. It is an 8 valve and it has an aluminum block. This motor has (had) a black plastic intake manifold with a vacuum operated expandable intake runners.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Patrick.

i would look more at polo/golf looms myself if you have any access to any

I think the engine code is ADR or AUR. Its hard to tell. I dont have any Polo diagrams, we dont have those either. Here the Golf is same as the Jetta(Bora) and Beetle. There is not many motor options. Mostly the fire was around the #1 cyl. It looks like an injector leaked onto a plug wire. The fire was big enough to melt the intake manifold. The 03-04 Beetle Cabrio is the only car here to have the variable length manifold. So im using one of those, but its slightly different, and I have to make it work. Im using injectors from a Passat 1.8t and a fuel rail from a 95 2.0 Jetta. Like I said I'm having a hard time piecing it together. The I.D. tag says SEAT S.A. so i assume its from Brazil or something. The VIN # is VSSEG16K02R193005. I hope it is the same as its Spanish built counterparts.

Once again, Thanks!:D

Hi,

Only thing I can suggest if your struggling for parts would be to have a look on the UK ebay site for 1.6 Ibizas that are being broken, maybe the sellers would ship parts abroad.

Got it. Thanks ill let you know how it turns out.

One other question, what is the name of the white SEAT on the home page that is the same body as a B6 Audi A4 ? That would be cool to get all the grilles and badges and "build" one over here
