I have just fitted my forge splitter DV, now its time for the induction! Im not a fan of the botch job feed pipes with some of the kits available, thats why im interested in the Jabbasport induction kit, it seems to fit neatly under the bonnet without having to remove a lot etc.

Does any body reccomend the jabbasport or suggest anything better for my LC, Also is the jabbasport a dry filter or does it need to be oiled?

Thanks:happy:

do a search mate on induction kits. i used to use a dynatwist which was very good. good roar and dv sound. uses a pipe tho but its nice cleanish cold air from behind the headlight like your current one.

You can certainly hear it wooshing the air in, no turbo whistle really, but then i couldn't really hear mine much before hand. Not all induction noise either though, surprisingly.

I actually managed to get mine off eBay for a bargain price. If you PM songman, he'll give you any details you may need as he has a close relationship with the Jabba guys.

i had dynatwist on an ibiza MK3 and it was great, nice wooshy sound, no not atmospheric lol, looked great and was trouble free and was supplied with the cold air feed which went into the wheel arch, supplied by Mr Bill.B

looking at the jabbasport kit.......isnt it just a K&N cone with a shield round it, seems a bit of a rip off/over priced for £230?

It is very expensive yes, and tbh, i wouldn't have paid the £230 they wanted. But, get it at the right price and it does give you a well made heatshield and a JR cone. Fits really well and i don't find it sucking in much in the way of hot air.

don't know how much the dyntwist kits are going for now, but suggest going to Bill B's website and taking a look

definitely more "affordable" than the Jabbasport kit, although i can't knock jabba as i had my remap done there and they are great guys and are very professional, although i think we are paying a little for the name perhaps rather than the products
