I must admit, now i have gotten used to the dsg it don't bother me half as much. In fact I rather enjoy it and I know that when I wanna rev the nuts off the car I do it in manual. I am loving my car............................ also with 225BHP on tap now hehehehehehehehehehee

i'm currently thinking about getting the REVO remap next year, after when i change insurance companies! FR + BIG POWER = SLEEPER! :D:D:D:D:D:D also going be a BOC killer:whistle::whistle:! LOLOL!

LOL. Good luck with that mate, remember everything you do, we can do better! hahahahahahahahahhahaha

Kickdown button is just a button with a spring in it that makes it click. It is NOT ELECTRONIC in any way shape or form

It simply gives the feeling of pressing a buttom. The kickdown is purely calculated on REvs and throttle position.

If you don't believe me just pull the button out of your pedal assembly and see that it has no wires, just a spring which clicks.

I was wondering this because i was in manual mode with my foot to the floor before and felt the "click" and nothing happened then out of nowhere it kicked in despite the fact i hadn't raised/ lowered my foot a fair few seconds later.

Mine will kickdown like a MOFO if it is in sport... I am talking mid corner dropping from 2nd to 1st and 5000rpm and you are like WTF!

I have since fitted a D-Drive throttle controller and ramped up my throttle signal by 50%. So now it almost never kicks down for some reason (maybe the differential between my inputs is not great enough). It just goes fast and holds gear and also leaves the line without bogging as much.
