Ibiza 6L power steering

Guys,

just a curious question, I've read the Ibiza 6L has electric power steering which depending on the steering angle and car speed will become more or less firm. For drivers of this car, what do you think of the steering feel, does that system work well?

I would say speed sensitive but it can be given an increase/decrease if required with vag com

I found a VW document online called "SSP_259" that backs up what you are saying, it describes it as speed sensitive on page 12, do you think VW did a good job, does it firm up enough? A lot of car reviews aren't too impressed with electric hydraulic steering on newer cars.

I think there are five stages/settings so there should be something to suit as for electric steering I guess it's like over thin oil etc driven by EU fuel consumption (never mind the exhaust-we'll fudge that!!!) The EU were invented for the slogan "nothings impossible for the man who does not have to do it himself" Rant over : p.s. don't for get the new improved gas for the air con!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EU? Getting political That setting adjustment on VCDS is interesting, will look into that.
