Hi
Looking at putting an aftermarket head unit in my Ibiza FR 2.0 TDI.
Have looked at forums but not seen this issue, but I'm sure someone on here must have cracked it.
The problem is unit holding the stereo also includes the hazards, esp and airbag switches.
Now other posters have talked about moving these switches into another switch assembly lower down in front of gearstick, BUT the assembly they have recommended would replace my current one which includes central locking and rear screen controls. It looks like I need an assembly that includes hazards, esp, airbag, central locking and rear screen heater.

I have a picture explaining what I mean but the forums wants a URL for it rather than just let me attach it!

Any help much appreciated, and promise to post the eventual solution for others to use .

Cheers

Hi, I finally got the adapter I needed to fit an aftermarket stereo without the need to relocate my hazard switch cluster. I also retained use of my steering wheel controls with the correct adapter. Just posting in case anyone wants the same info. Will post details of the parts required on request.

Can't post a picture because I haven't posted 15 posts???

I wonder if this thread would be of use?

A bit of a how-to, with loads of pictures :)
