Ibiza Cupra Bocanegra 2012 Stage 2 ECU

So i tuned my car by PP performance for stage 2 ecu remap along with downpipe change, intake system and KNN filter

They told me it will go from 180HP to 212 HP

But the question is that, they told me that i won't feel the full difference now, i have to do 500 km's first THEN i will feel the real difference

Is this true ? And if yes, what is the explanaition ?

P.s already done 200 km and i already feel a big difference.

Yes it's true, The ECU has to "Re-learn" how to use the new settings.

All Cars leave the factory with a default map. For Example some countries have do not have acceess to super unleaded petrol or their standard fuel has a lower octane than other countries and the map is put on it to take this into account. So therefore tweaking the settings to take advantage of better fuel will make a difference so you should see some improvements, an increase in economy will probably be one, but I can't say for sure it depends on the tuner. If they state a BHP increase then you should get that and at the very lease the car will feel more responsive
