Thats. mad lol my mate bought it from boy in newquay im sure, spent a good bit of money on it like glass out respray etc and was going to get vr6d but ue got a good offer for it and sold it on! Stunning car would have been awesome with a bit more go!

Haven't updated this in a little while.

I had the wheel centres painted VW flash red :)

And to go with this i decided to get some red light tinting film for my tail lights, i'm actually really chuffed with the result

Excuse the **** picture.. wonky drive doesn't help. The rear badge is now black but i'm debating having it smoothed and fitting a boot popper.

Car is looking good mate im a fan of the wheels :) aye thats my mates old corrado in that picture was suppose to get VR'd but he sold up in the end was taken care of!

K03s mate :)

Debated the Idea of K04 or K03s hybrid, but to be honest its got enough go as it is, especially with the torque figure, and i want to start concentrating on looks now for 2012 :)

Really nice car mate , but a k03s making 300 ft/lbs of torque I haven't seen that , k04s on stage 2 will make that figure and so struggle to do so. Anyway your rue looks awesome mate

Really? Might look into the history of the car a bit more? i know the old progress thread is on here so may do some investigation haha

Because it doesn't look awesome enough as it is?
Lol I'd love to see what you do with this, it looks fantastic!

Haha cheers :)

I'll get some updated photos soon once the steering wheel is on and once ive started tarting the bay up properly, want to get on to polishing the inlet manifold soon hopefully, going to be an absolute sod tho :(

Found the old progress thread, post #42, http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=220901&page=3

Thats the RR printout i got with the car and seems to have been done straight after FMIC and 4 bar FPR, no mention in the thread of a bigger turbo though :\

I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to come across as negative on your RR thread, but now that this egg is out the basket, I might as well, it's impossible for a K03S to make that much torque, that's K04 / K04 Hybrid / Big Turbo territory. The BHP is border line optimistic too. Not taking anything away from your car mate, it's lovely, best colour too ;)

I'm planning on having the car RR'd at Alan Jeffreys down here at some time tbh so will be a good inidication then as to whether its a case of a bigger turbo that i'm not aware of or an optimistic dyno haha :)

Tbh im not entirely fussed whichever way it turns out to be, it's still an absolute hoot to drive :) Just concentrating on looks now and details, best colour by a mile ;) haha (apart from showing bloody swirls, time to get my DA out again...)

I'd take the AMD results with a pinch of salt mate, there dyno is well known for giving over inflated numbers..

Wheels look better in white mate

Good to know! :)

And cheers, I really prefer them, looks a little more subtle
