My drivers side interior door handle has snapped meaning opening the door is difficult , do i need to remove the door card or can i pop old one out and new one in? Heard the door cards a pig to take off as you
Need to remove the regulator and all sorts .

Weel, it's not something that some unexperienced person could do easily, when mine broke, because they all broke eventually, I did got to the dealer.

Does anyone know if the cable of the door is adjustable?

My drivers door has problems closing since SEAT replaced the door handle, either they fitted the wrong handle or the cable is too tight because the handle has no gap, I just push a little and the door opens, the other doors I can push one cm before it opens. And because the handle is too tight the door doesn't close well.

Thread resurrection!

I think my driver door handle is broken, so want to replace it. However, all the door handles I can find seem to be designed for left hand drive cars - ie the mirror adjustment knob is on the left door handle rather than the right as it is on UK cars.

its not that expensive at the dealer. from what I remember it was around 25€

they usually have it in stock as it is a part that breaks very often

Btw the door handle broke again shortly after.

It was not fitted correctly.

The cable was not installed properly, cant explain much but it was undocked.
