Ibiza sport TDi 105

Hi guys,

I have a 56 plate ibiza fr tdi, and in decemebr it will be running out of warranty.

I was waiting for the new fr, but they are not doing a diesel at all
(I think they have made a mistake)

So i thought about getting the new ibiza but they only do it in a 5 speed 1.9 105 engine.

Anyone had one of these remapped yet?

I have test driven the new ibiza but it lacks the guts of mine.

I am also concerned about the loss in value of the new ibiza. Also the sport wont be as exclusive as the fr is.

To sum up, Should i get an 08 ibiza fr tdi, or a new mk5 with a remap?

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I got told maybe 2011.

There has been so much conflicting information, for so long, even two different people in SEAT have told me differnet things

If they bring the diesel out uo reckon they'll be another grand over the petrol price. Is anyone really gonna pay 16k for an fr ibiza?

Hopefully they will realise sooner than later, that they need a performance diesel in the range and not common rail.

I have heard there is a 1.9 TDI 155bhp coming out in the fr towards the end of the year.
There are also so remaps that will take the 1.9 105 to 155 bhp.

Surely they are not gonna do a diesel more powerful than the petrol fr are they?
WOuld be good!!!!

Is it this year that his is going to be realeased or 2010?

Yeah i can get 145 remapped for the 1.9 105bhp

Where have you heard about the 155bhp?

What do people recommend, hold out for new fr or buy an inbetweeen car?
