i have just bought a full damaged mk3 golf vr6 for the engine to go in my 99 1.4 ibiza sport, i am just wondering if anybody can provide me with the part number for the vw clutch mechanism to run a cable on the vr6 hyd box? and what cars run this mechanism and what vw charge for this part, thanks dave

there was a kit for sale on E38 to use a cable change on a hydro box....

will see if I can find the link in a min....

any plans for the VR engine apart from the transplant, i love VR engines, they sound amazing, can be proper quick

not sure at the moment what i am gonna do,i fancy a supercharger but gonna see what its like with the standard engine first and do a little research in to the vr engine

Supercharger on VR6 is where it's at

If I put a VR6 in the Cordy it'll get a charger, the sound is awesome

ITBs? they sound wicked on a VR, would be a fooking quick motor then

or a Rotrex Charger , or an Eaton M62, possibly M90? (as the raddo VR is a 2.9)

standard VR's sound amazing though
