Unitronic seem to use MBC/EBC's in their BT codes, so its not unusual... but its clearly a symptum of trying to make the me7 do things it was'nt designed for.

I went standalone for a good reason. One stop box for control and integrated solution, where the maps are 100% transparent as to what they do written with software which is designed to allow you to map them.
My preference for big BT is towards standalone these days. It does what I tell it to when I tell it.
Managing boost control outside of ME7 seems the easiest approach than banging your head against ME7 trying to do something else.
