So, 8 months after swapping my 6j Ibiza FR for a silly 3.0 V6 TDi Audi A4 Quattro, which was running 285bhp and 540nm torque, I've had to get rid of it due to the birth of my little man and upgrade to a more family friendly option.
I'm picking up a brand new Technic Grey 1.4 TSi Leon, the 123bhp model, which was at a bargain price which I couldn't refuse with the technology pack, the convenience pack and rear parking sensors which I'm very happy with.
Had a bit of a bidding war between 2 different Seat dealerships and ended up going with a pre registered one with 5 miles on the clock and some extra gadgets. The salesman who lost the war was trying to sell me a 65 plate Leon in Monsoon Grey with 1,373 miles on the clock for £350 more and his only positives to buying his were the fact that the 65 plate had the MY 16 update on the sat nav - the updated graphics on the Radio (displaying pictures for the radio stations, which I wasn't interested in because I don't listen to the radio) and the USB and Aux point under the cd player rather than in the glovebox. Still, both salesmen were exceptionally helpful and took a lot of time to try and give me the best deal possible, but the 2 month older car was the one for me because I don't have a clue how the car has been driven for those 1,373 miles by the salesman who was using it.
Quick question, is there anyway to update the firmware on the MY 15 to the MY 16's improved graphics? If not, not an issue, I am more than happy with the extra gadgets I've got on my Leon rather than his standard Tech Pack Leon.
Cheers guys and glad to be back!
