Well I have now clocked up around 700 miles on my Cupra... loving every minute so far! Typically I have been averaging around 39-40 mpg which I am really happy about considering the very little mileage. But the other day on an 8 mile journey home I managed 46 mpg  I drove pretty steady but was very impressed and surprised at this figure.

It has used around 700ml of oil now though, will have to buy another bottle this week.

But go on whats your best mpg average you have got in your tsi engine :D

average is about 30 if i push can get high 30s low 40s. 22mpg appears alot when the foot gose down

80 a long a section of the M80 yesterday......VERYY strong tail wind LMAO!!

but highest normal 47ish mpg

my first tank o ffuel i got 240 miles from brimmed to fumes. that was 27mpg. this second tank ive driven really steady to see what it'll do so far im on 42mpg and if it carries on ill be heading towards 350miles from the tank

The highest I manger in mine was the other day 10 mile trip 50.1ave mpg and my car is stage 2 was over the moon! Very fast car and very economical car best of both worlds that doesn't happen often

45MPG real world figure (55MPG according to the computer) while driving sensibly.

40MPG if I drive and have fun.

Anyone who gets over 30mpg in a cupra isnt driving it properly. End of. Highest ive ever got is 42mpg and that was the slowest speed ever. who wants to go out with me in boc? I reckon i can easily hit very low teens.

You need to come teach me i seriously get no where near. I would have a house by now if i could reach figures like that. How you can drive slow in these things is beyond me.... I cant help booting it from every singal light. I really need to grow up!

Only got 46mpg once, it is so easy to get pretty low mpg though. But trying to be relatively economical at the moment whilst Im running the car in. For people with Revo do you find the power any better lower down the rev range or is it just more at the high end?

tbh running the car in is important at the moment but as its an ex demo im worried those first 180 miles were being ragged!

Yea i bet they were, when running in its good to boot it, you drive around like a granny say goodbye to your 180bhp. Warm it up and thrash it, check oil constantly. Alot off people have nailed theres from day 1. Warm up and warm down you will have no probs. Ive had 2 oil changes just too keep it sweet and removed any metal whilst bedding in, ive used hardly any oil after 800miles.
