hi, just after some advice on whether anybody has fitted these in there leon front and back and whether is just a case of popping in the mk4 golf mounts and they will just sit in without any further modifications.

if any other speakers are recommended, please let me no.

There are a few threads on this (a couple of them below). Dead simple job if you're using coaxial speakers, you use the golf speaker mounts, but you have to trim them to fit. Tweeters are difficult to get to and remove, so most have used coaxial speakers and disconnected the stock tweeters.

If you're fitting the infinities, you might want to consider a sub as well as what you gain in quality, you lose in bass

was going to ask if anybody had fitted, for example Kappa 652.9i's in the front and say a cheaper pair like the 625.7i's or any others in the back.

just a money saving exercise really. would this work ok??
