Trying to sort out some bits and bobs for what i need for stage 2 with a apr map . i no the seatsport fmic is a must with forge piping , also the forge tip . The bit that is confusing me is the exhaust sytem do you need the full lot or can you just by a turbo downpipe with either a sports cat or decat  .

I wouldnt recommend putting the new downpipe into the standard cat back mate im not sure why really but ive been told off a few people its a bad idea! As for the sports cat its up to you if you want to spend the extra money on it or you can just go decat but remember it will bring up a fault code, it can be mapped out though so not to worry ;)

i would prob just go decat save me a few hundred quid . i was just going to go straight to the original system as i thought the cat is what holds up the performance more than anything . not to bothered about the light already got two on as it is another one wont hurt lol

haha your dash will be light up like a xmas tree then  i dont know if it will do any harm going into the old system awesome advised against it when i was on the phone to them and decat is the best way, i just cant be bothered flapping about come MOT time! Which is due next week should pass....

just need to find a very unorganized garage where the the emission test can accidently get mixed up with another car i suppose

the downpipe is a very restrictive part of the exhaust but there are other small restrictions on the system after the cat not to mention the standard system is a smaller diameter and weighs quite a bit more.
i did weigh both complete systems but i cant remember the weight differences anymore.
theres some good deals going with the blueflame exhausts at the moment i have a blueflame resonated system fitted with 100 cell cat i would have got a decat if it wasnt for mots, although the car did need to be quite warm to go through emissions test.

At a minimum you realy need a high flow down pipe and sports cat, Luke.

I have a full Miltek system with 100 cell (I think, could be 200 cell though) cat and have no problems with MOT at all.
