I think it's fair to say most people would just want the splitter anyway.

Railroad them into a group buy , you'd take 20-30 splitters off them at £100 a pop , just tell em " think of all the free advertising , these splitter will fit on any Leon , and when people ask us where we got them we'll send them to you and the'll be at the RRR of £373 " blah blah blah all that guff....worth a try!

Yeah, they might sell one or two front splitters at £400. However if they need painted, add £100 on for painting and fitting. This will end up at £500 which is a lot for a piece of plastic that will probably end up getting the same or similar damage to the splitter on the LCR and therefore need replaced quite often.

This could be the reason SEAT never took the kit on as their own though.

at that cost or even a fair bit less you would be mad to get the splitter. Just imagine, spend the morning putting it on, taknig pics, doesnt it look great etc etc
short drive, one speed bump later :cry:

Perhaps an oportunity for someone to develop a splitter thats competitively priced and 'disposable' like the LCR version.

I presume the LCR version is a fair way off fitting a MK2?

Someone had done it in one of the wheels threads. Doesn't quite sit right imo but looks ok ish. For £18 you couldn't complain but no way I can see people spending £400+ on a painted splitter for it to get trashed within a month. :lol:
