Infotainment software 1983 - any news?

As per the title, it seems there is a 1983 version popping up - as anyone seen it or know about potential improvements/performance?

Also, what are the magical problems to quote in order to get this update?

Given there is already the facelift out and they are cost cutting, I believe we have seen the last update and will be stuck with 1969, unfortunately.

I think they're just slow when it comes to implementing their own skin/layer on top of the VAG software... IIRC Seat/Cupra were also the last in the group to release previous SW updates (1940/41, 1969).

Today went to dealer for car service, complained infotainment sometimes freeze they did update to 1969 I think it was on 1940 earlier this morning.

1969 is old … Skoda has from October the 1985

Well I am assuming if the dealer in UK had 1985 they would have done that unless there is something else.

yes skoda VW has firmware 198X but only OTA at least in Austria. Dealers do not have the firmware available.

Funny thing is infotainment system froze on way back after the update ?
Maybe I'll leave it and say it must be optimising in the background.

I don't think at least in UK if dealer had 198x they would have done it.
My car is in warranty so they did it.

There is NOT 198X yet , this is what I am asking , if anyone knows if there be any 198X update like Skoda/vw mib 3 infotainments

there is 1988 but we have to search for the file to be able to install it
