Infotainment software update

Hi,

I’ve tried searching and can’t find a definitive guide on how to update the software/firmware of the infotainment system in the Leon.

To clarify I do not want to update the navigation/maps, just the actual software. I know mine is fairly out of date being version 0359 (screenshot below) and I’ve had issues with CarPlay crashing fairly frequently.

Is it a case of downloading the update onto a USB or SD card and doing it through the on screen menu? Where can I find the software file if so?

Appreciate any help!

Why do you want to update it? What is the benefit?

I kinda view it like computers and mobile phones, if it works properly, leave it the heck alone!

There isn't a link to Seat for a download, it doesn't exist.

You would have to go to a dealership and pay them for the official update, or pay that company for their copy of the Seat update - either way you are unlikely to see any real difference.

thanks for the answer, where can I download it for offical upload, can you add a link
The link above takes you to the website where you can buy the official download for the MIB2 for £20. If you want to go to a higher version, then it becomes 'unofficial' as it wouldn't be supported by SEAT. This costs several times more.
