Hi all dose any one know if amk injectors are different part numbers to bam injectors??? I have always assumed they would be the same part bu after I spoke to a company who who was going to remap my car they sead if I wanted too go to around 260bhp I'd have too fit bam injectors fuel pressure regulator and pump I'd have thought it was all the same parts between the 210 bhp and the 225 bhp engines.
yes I'm running a amk engine

Same SEAT part number but different Bosch part numbers, check the spreadsheet here - http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88463

The different part numbers could just be that SEAT use the same part number to cover any injectors for AMK and BAM - i.e. if you bought some from SEAT they'd just send you the latest compatible Bosch injector. So no, there is no need to change injectors, FPR or fuel pump.

Who is this company anyway, and what map are you looking at?

Hi 8bit thanks for the reply. I did check my car and they was right my 210hp motor dose only have a 3bar fuel pressure regulator and the fuel injectors was different as well.
Didn't want too spend too much on the fuel system as im hopfully about too buy a seat sport gearbox with a recardo plate diff. so just had it remapped to a safe 250ish bhp on the std system
The company I used for the remap is protune I'm pretty happy with the map they sent me. It rearly boots up well at 2k and light throttle

All LCRs (210 and 225) have 3-bar FPR, basically the same injectors and fuel pumps, functionally they are no different. No need for 4 bar really on a stage 1 map. If you hadn't already had it mapped I'd have said just go to a Revo dealer, I got 286.6bhp on their stage 1 but obviously every car maps a bit differently though.

Really only need to upgrade to 4 bar and/or bigger injectors if you're upgrading to a hybrid turbo or bigger turbo.

That's a lot for a remap I was chatting to a bloke who raced the factory Cupra r spec car they reckons 270was the limit for a stock engine. I've got all the std down pipe and exhaust cats. Yes I've already done the remap on my car and its pretty good might book it in for a power run down at regales auto sport in Southampton soon just too see what it is making. Had a bit off a traffic light moment with a Audi a3 to 1.8t and tore the ass off it lol

There's plenty of LCRs on here making a lot more than 270 :) But yeah, get it on the rollers, see what it makes.
