How much are these kits?

I take it the gasket moves the manifold away from the block to reduce heatsoak? or is there a dif reason behind it?

Bill where do we get these longer bolts from? Are there any OEM ones that are longer or is it all aftermarket ones? From you?

If you spin out a bolt measure it, add the phenolic spacers width to it, thats the new length you need.
M6 cap head bolts

I am not down my workshop until this evening so cant measure a longer bolt.
they're nothing special, any local screw supplier can supply them

They reduce heat conduction yes. Mosstly by their composition being non-heat conducting (very low anyhows) and also by their thickness.

Keeps reported AITs low, as the air temp sensor live in the otherwise hot to touch inlet manifold.

Cheers Bill, do you just buy the spacer or can you buy it as a kit? I take it you need 2 normal gaskets and fit 1 either side of spacer?
