I have been having issues with my cluster on my Leon FR dying on me frequently. I have taken it to a repair center and have been advised to replace the cluster as the microprocessor looks to be damaged.
This is quite difficult for me as I am in South Africa and these cars are hard to find in scrap yards (Everyone looks after them lol)
I did manage to find a cluster but the guy will not give me a refund if it does not work on my car, he claims that it is 100% functional as the leon was in a back smash but everything else is in tact and working.
Is it going to be a big job to get this car recoded? If I buy that part, I am looking for a timeline on the coding as this is my only car.
