Insurance Companies for Remaps - Any recommendations?

I've had my FR+ CR170 for about 6 months and have been considering a Revo Stage 1.

My insurance is up for renewal in a couple weeks and I thought it might be a good time to see how much is would be to insure it with the Remap, so that I can get it done as soon as money allows.

I've done loads of comparison site checks and the best without any mods was £334 (with £200 excess), including courtesy car & windscreen cover.

That is for the following...
Age - 33
NCB - 14 (Protected)
Mileage - 11k (with up to 1k business)
Parked at secure office car park in the day and residential parking at night
Low risk area

I was hoping with a stage 1 it wouldn't be a huge amount more, otherwise I might have to wait until another year.

Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for good insurance companies, plus maybe a rough idea as to what a reasonable quote is with a remap?

Have heard lots of good things about Greenlight but they can never match the deal I get with Adrian Flux (renewed at the start of this month). I have Business class 1 + fully comp and it is the bc 1 that ups the quotes from the likes of Greenlight.

get on confused.com, you can input various modifications on there that should give you an idea.

Admittedly my insurance is a lot more than yours, i only have 5 years ncb but declaring a remap and springs and arb changed it from something like 750 to 850 so nothing major. A simple remap might only change it by £50 over 12 months

Brentcare are a really competitive firm. They have been mentioned on here many times and deal with only mod cars. I was going to go with them , but the mrs car packed up , so now car sharing. I went onto her policy which worked out cheaper .

I went with sky insurance this year, couldn't be beaten by anyone else and with similar policy as the one you have.

Same for me including the business use, Adrian Flux manage to beat the rest.

I've got a FL Cupra with a declared induction kit, fully comp, at the time of taking out the insurance i was 30, 11 yrs no claims, think it was about £440. I'm planning on getting a remap but as of yet, it's not been done.

+1 for Brentacre for me. Very competitive. Rang them the other day to ask how much extra for when i map it and they said £85 for the year.

I've had a quote from Greenlight of £498 and Adrian Flux of £475, but will check the others too before I decide what to do
