Hi everyone,
I have an intermitent problem with my turbo not always coming in under acceleration. I took it to have the diagnostics run and it came back with this result (not a VAGCOM code I believe);
449C intake manifold pressure sensor open circuit / earth short.
From what I've been reading on here this would seem to be the MAP sensor. Is this correct and if so where is it located nad how easy is it to replace?
Also, there was another code which keeps re-appearing - 42A2 glow plug cylinder 4 circuit defective. Like I said this has been appearing for a while and I've checked all the glow plugs and they always work. The guy who ran the diagnostics said it could be the glow plug timer relay. Again does this sound like a possibility and agian, where would this be located?
