Following my recent thread about my turbo blowing up I relies I need to clean my intercooler out and the oil pipes before I have the turbo replaced! What's the best way to clean it out...? Steam clean?? Any advice at all??

If it's got oil in it then all I can think of is really hot soapy water just keep doing g it till no more oil is present then flush with water don't use high pressure as you may damage internal

Ok just pour it in and swill it round then empty it over and over again? Is it ok to steam clean the pipes out??

Yh just keep doing it hot but not scalding as it may distort the fins inside as for the pipes yh should be ok just be careful rinse and dry well, I put my ic on There radiator for a couple days so residual heat dryer it out I did it years ago when a turbo on my scoob went boobs up
