Intercooler Hoses

Hi everyone,

I've just bought a cupra with a ko3s, intercooler etc, around 230 bhp, and the pipes keep blowing off. I welded beads around all the stainless steel piping so the jubilee clips hang on, but the rest are aluminium. Would mikalor clamps do the trick or should i change the piping to s/s and weld a bead around???

to be honest although its a common problem jubilee clips should do it, I never had a pipe pop off on my old k03s...

maybe buy a new silicone hose (same on) as this one is old and therefore stretched.

As shanty said, I have never popped a hose, when seriously tightening the jubilee clips.

Or you could do as Myki did, and put at least 2 jubilee clips per hose lol

I've had a few pop off aswell so decided to go for 2 clips. So far so good, lol.
