Evening Guys / Girls,

After a few hours of research on here I have put together the following diagram which I belive to be correct? (Let me know if i'm completely off the mark!) I'm currently looking around for a Mk3 Cupra to buy and am buying bits and pieces... I put this together to get things clear in my own mind but it may be of some use to users on here aswell... If this is correct i'll add some linkes to reccomended cores / pipekits etc later.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

lol EDIT just read that you put "cold-side relocation! " for those of us with forge tips and proper intake pipes who dont want to cold side there (which makes bugger all difference!)

but yeah diagram looks about bang on for the money!

sorry pic was 2 mins on paint! :cartman:

also why not just run 90degree silicone instead of 2 joiners!?

I did have a big dig around on here before drawing this up and most people say the only real benifit to doing a coldside relocation is to improve the life of the DV... Apparently it has no impact on preformance at all! But for the cost of the pipework required (as long as you dont pay the silly prices for a "relocation kit") it makes sense to me just to do it and improve the lifespan of the DV even if its only by 20/30%.

I assume you mean coming away from the intercooler? My thought behind this as it says in the diagram was to reduce the amount of sillicone used to the minimum possible... hopefully to try and stop hoses collapsing under boost? But there is no reason why more sillicone etc can be used where people want, it's only a guide :)

I have the TT setup and the cold side relocation kit.

The coldside is made up of the Forge kit however I was recommended by Jabba to remove it as it messes up the fueling so I am looking to put it back where it was.

So my opinion dnt bother with the coldside, has made no difference what so ever and tbh servicing the DV is not hard and its cheap when compared to moving it.

I will be going back to the standard DV location at some point.

Had mine on coldside for 5 years now with no issues

What issues have jabba reported?
