does anyone know whats the better intercooler to go for seen a few now and massive price differences.
anyone got one fitted and what was the gain?

running a 225 lcr with gt2871rs eliminator full system dec cat and downpipe been remapped blah blah blah

Running a turbo like that i would of thought you would want something like the pro alloy.

Pro Alloy kit is direct fit behind the stock crash bar, very good kit.

No you keep the standard crash bar, but you have to cut out the slam panel supports which are later replaced with a pro alloy bracket. I can post pic’s if you want.

Robs pic’s are much better that mine he’s had the forge lcr cooler too so I’m sure if you asked him nicely he would post both pic’s so you could compare the two (visually). Which one did you go with in the end rob?

Not that big, I’m fairly sure that pro alloy price is without vat.

sure will be interesting wasnt going to mod the car other than the tvs xbox etc but a blown turbo has got the better of me and also just hanging on to scoobys is **** want to waste em. jap crap.

The pro alloy is 50mm deep (i think). Is the forge 76mm?

60mm I think, although the Forge unit is half the height of the Pro Alloy - you're unlikely to be disappointed with either kit. Out on the road recently my intake temps were as low as 12 degrees C with the PA IC!
