Is it just me or does the interiors scuff way too easy. :censored:
I have a 04 and when I catch anything against the trim it leaves such scuffmarks. Whenever I get out I usually catch my shoe on the bottom of the door panel, and man it leaves such marks. Tried rubbing it off with water, mild cleaner no luck. Anyone have same problem, or do you lot not have clown feet? :)

Your not alone m8, happens to me all the time (im 6ft 2" ) and your right the interior does mark very easily, as does the exterior paintwork in my experience hence my year old car is looks like a 3 year old car :( its my only criticism of the car the crappy paint quality.

cheers Mark.

yep same here, everything marks, had it super guarded so it seems to leave a white mark everytime i scratch it. cockpitshine sound the solution but i prefer the matt look to the dash etc

try some of the interior stuff from Waxwizard, WW Brite its called. Leaves a nice Matt finish and smells nice too!

Lower dash trim scuffs

I was originally concerned that the lower dash and door trim plastic scuffed really easily, 2 or 3 in the first couple of days.

I found that gently rubbing across the scuffed area with a cloth soaked in Armour-All did the trick. Since then an application of armour-all on the interior appears to have help protect the plastic from scuffing at all.

Adrian.

I have this problem really bad - in the boot and by the drivers side. Anyone tried any products that actually shifts these marks or dims them down a tad?:)

I've got some Autoglym interior cleaning/polishing stuff. Doesn't shine much, cleans it up a treat and smells luvverly.

I'm going to start wearing a bubble wrap suit to stop me scratching it any more though.

My tip for removing scuffs from the fairly soft black interior trim is to work away at the scuff with your fingernail through a soft cloth that's got a bit of armourall on it ( which probably just lubricates it so water might work)

The trick is to gently remove the small bit of material which is raised up as this looks whitish in appearance and makes the scuffs loko worse.

I don't blame you! marks so easily.:(

Cheers - I will try the AG interior and see if it polishes it up. I really hope so cause it is really bad and I only noticed it after I bought the car!

Thanks, I will give this a go over the weekend. :)

it happens to me all the time also...mine simply wipe off with a cloth then i use "black in a flash" turtle wax stuff...brings it straight up

Going to try the nail and cloth to try and remove the scuff then will get some turtle stuff as you say and hope I can buff the whiteish colour up a bit.:)

armour all matt finish in a green packet or tube are the muts nuts, i can clean all my dash and front door panels with one wipe and the finish is like new. there you go ;)
